What you will be doing!
As a System Administrator (Field Support), Level 1, you will provide technical support and troubleshooting for networks, desktops, and system hardware and software.
Responsibilities
- Apply fundamental diagnostic techniques to identify problems, investigate causes, and recommend appropriate solutions.
- Provide remote support access using desktop mirroring and other remote access applications for worldwide locations.
- Identify, investigate, resolve, and follow up on issues reported to the helpdesk by users of cloud infrastructure.
- Modify, relocate, and install new equipment as needed.
- Perform technical tasks and offer site support.
- Conduct integrity testing and interview customers to gather information about their issues.
- Interface with our Tier 2 technical support team and the Availability Management team to escalate any issues that require additional assistance for resolution.
- Handle Data Transfer Agent requests to transfer files between networks.
- Must be available to work 9am-5pm Mon-Fri Shift
Experience and Education:
- A high school diploma or equivalent with 10 years of relevant experience, or
- A Bachelor's degree with 5 years of relevant experience.
- Experience with Hardware Installation, maintenance and Repair
- Proficiency with Microsoft applications and Windows administration.
- Experience with Remote Desktop Administration
- DoD 8570 IAT Level 1 required.
- An active TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph is mandatory for this role.
