What You Will Do
As a DNS Engineer, you will support a mission-critical network infrastructure supporting DNS, DHCP, and IP Address Management (DDI) services. You will work hands-on with Infoblox and Cisco ISE, applying your networking knowledge to ensure high availability, security, and performance across enterprise and government environments. You’ll collaborate closely with customers and team members, ensuring infrastructure changes and configurations align with operational goals and compliance standards. Key Responsibilities
Configure and maintain Infoblox DNS, DHCP, and IPAM (DDI) solutions.
Plan, test, and implement changes to the DDI infrastructure.
Maintain network authentication systems including Cisco ISE.
Troubleshoot DNS and network-related issues with clear documentation and best practices.
Deliver consistent communication and reporting to clients and internal stakeholders.
Support environments used by local government, service providers, and enterprise-level customers.
Participate in an on-call rotation to ensure 24/7 infrastructure availability.
Meet defined Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
Required Skills and Qualifications
Strong DNS knowledge, including Infoblox experience
Ability to participate in on-call rotation
Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Strong attention to detail and self-starting attitude
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
Education and Experience:
High School Diploma or GED and 15 years of relevantIT/Network experience OR
Bachelor’s Degree in a related field and 10 years of relevant experience
Certifications:
CompTIA Security+ CE (DoD 8570 IAT Level II compliant)
Clearance Requirement:
Must possess an active TS/SCI with Polygraph security clearance to be considered for this role.
